Winterfest Boat Parade, Fort Lauderdale
Many cities have lighted boat parades, but Fort Lauderdale’s is the biggest and, at 48, the oldest. The 12-mile route down the New River and Intracoastal Waterway is lined with people and parties and the parade is said to draw a crowd of a million spectators.
