ASSESSING ORGANIZATIONAL INCLUSIVITY: METHODS, TOOLS, & PRACTICES

August 12 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

This training is designed to assist nonprofit organizations in assessing organizational inclusivity by teaching assessment methods, tools, and practices.

Assessing organizational inclusivity is crucial for creating an equitable workplace. Inclusive organizations are more likely to attract and retain top talent, foster innovation, and improve financial performance. Inclusion is the degree to which an individual feels that their authentic selves are welcomed at work, enabling them to contribute in a meaningful and deliberate manner. To foster inclusion, organizations need to evaluate people management practices, line management capability, and employee perceptions of inclusion. This training session will focus on inclusivity assessment methods, tools, and practice. Participants will be exposed to an assessment instrument and explore domains and indicators for their own internal measurement. This session will be presented in a pragmatic manner to yield practical knowledge and application for attendees as well as transfer of gained knowledge to practice.

Stephen Ferrante will facilitate this training in-person at CSC.
