The 60th Annual CHAOS Pompano Beach/Lighthouse Point/Deerfield Beach Holiday Boat Parade will take place between the hours of 7 and 9:30 along the intracoastal waterway on Friday December the 9th, 2022. This year’s theme is “60 Years of Magic on the Water”. The “MAGIC” happens when over 50 boats, glowing with colorful lights, holiday decorations, music and merriment, thrill thousands of spectators that line the Intracoastal Waterway, as they float past decorated homes, hotels, restaurants and parks. The air will be filled with the spirit of the holidays as the community comes together in this wonderful annual event to kick-off and celebrate the winter season! And let’s not forget “Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus” will be making an appearance too!
The Judges Viewing Stand will be located, dockside, at the “SANDS HARBOR RESORT & MARINA” in Pompano Beach. The Parade begins at Lake Santa Barbara and proceeds north thru the Hillsboro Bridge and around Sullivan Park in Deerfield Beach. The bridges on Atlantic Blvd, 14th St. Causeway & Hillsboro Blvd will be in the upright position from 6:15 until the parade passes by, so please plan accordingly.
Prizes and cash will be awarded for 1, 2nd ,3rd, & 4th Place boats by size for the best décor, excitement, music, theme decor and lighting, in line with the theme for this year or their Holiday Spirit theme at the Annual Awards Party.
